Prior to founding Upswing Real Estate, Woody co-founded and grew Short Circuit, a San Jose-based electronics repair facility, into the second largest repair facility for Nissan and Infiniti automobiles nationwide. He then transitioned his entrepreneurial pursuits to real estate and quickly became a top producer for a leading real estate brokerage in the South Bay. Tony’s attention to detail and dedication to thoroughness make him an outstanding real estate professional. He is also an attorney licensed in the state of California. Prior to founding Upswing Real Estate, Tony practiced law in Manhattan Beach and Oakland. Tony’s primary practice areas included business litigation, real estate, construction, and corporate law. His extensive experience as a transactional and litigation attorney provides him with an edge in negotiations and contract drafting. Tony attended UC Davis where he earned both his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and political science, and his law degree. In addition, he earned a Masters of Arts degree in Sports Management from Long Beach State University.

Lucia has always loved real estate and found her niche at Upswing Real Estate as the Marketing Coordinator. Prior to joining the team at Upswing Real Estate, Lucia worked as the Environmental Specialist for a major manufacturer in Sacramento, CA. After frequent trips to the Bay Area while working on a jobsite in Cupertino, she discovered that she loved the South Bay and the urban lifestyle it offered. She made the move and transitioned her content management, writing and creative skills into the field of real estate marketing. Having always enjoyed writing, Lucia chose this has her required concentration when completing her degree in Environmental Science at UC Santa Barbara. This proclivity for writing combined with a fascination for real estate and love of the urban lifestyle has made her transition into real estate marketing an exciting new challenge.

Kathleen heads the Property Management group at Upswing Real Estate, overseeing the day to day operations of the property managers while assisting both owners and tenants for properties across San Jose and the surrounding areas. She is extremely familiar with Downtown San Jose and the Bay Area having grown up in the area and attended Santa Clara University. Prior to joining the company, Kathleen worked in event planning and the hotel business. She transitioned her customer service and management skills to the field of Property Management and earned her CCRM certificate, or California Certified Residential Manager certificate. With approximately 8 years of experience in the business, Kathleen’s knowledge of the area and the rental market is unparalleled.

Chris joins the Property Management Team at Upswing Real Estate after many years at Cost Plus World Market—still her all-time favorite store. She enjoys the diversity of her job, the team, and all that there is to learn. As a San Jose native, Chris was born and raised in the Almaden Valley before moving to Michigan for 10 years. During that time, she grew to appreciate life in the Midwest with highlights including her genuine neighbors, the wide-open spaces, and even the extreme weather. Outside of work, Chris and her family enjoy exploring nature, traveling, and spending time in their new home.

Daniel has been working with Upswing Real Estate since he was in high school when he was hired to set up open house signs on weekends. As he transitioned to college, he also expanded his role at the company to a part-time position helping with property management. He has taken this as an opportunity to expand his work experience and learn from the team at Upswing Real Estate while continuing to focus on school and completing his education. Outside of work and school, Daniel is a big fan of baking and trying new recipes. His favorite thing to bake is a Kahlua cake with a coffee icing recipe that has been passed down through family. Daniel also enjoys following and watching hockey, he even used to play roller hockey back in high school.
