Santa Clara County Moves into Orange Tier - Indoor Dining Can Resume

Slowly but surely, bit by bit, life is returning to the Bay. Santa Clara County has officially moved from a Covid tier status of red to orange. The scale goes from purple, to red, to orange, and finally to yellow which has the fewest restrictions.

Starting today, restaurants will now be able to open their indoor dining rooms again. Indoor dining will be limited to 25% of a restaurant's maximum capacity or 100 guests, whichever number is lower. Some restrictions on other indoor activities will also be lifted such as indoor pools, movies theaters, places of worship, and wineries.

Bars, breweries and distilleries that do not serve food will be now permitted to resume outdoor activity. They will still be restricted from offering any indoor service however.
