For all you foodies out there, another great food event is coming to downtown San Jose. The food truck festival called “A Day in the Park” will be held this Sunday, May 27, at St. James Park in downtown San Jose. The event will feature culinary delights from a number a number of gourmet food truck vendors and live music. There will also be a raffle with fantastic prizes from local businesses. For all the downtown neighbors and surrounding community members, come on down to St. James Park and enjoy a great day at the park. Stop on by and check out what’s cookin’ at St. James Park!

“A Day in the Park” is one of the many events planned for St. James Park in an effort to program and revitalize this downtown park. The event is being produced by the nonprofit group I Am San Jose and proceeds from the event will be donated to the Salvation Army. This is a fantastic event that hopefully all of the downtown residents will support. This is an easy walk for all the neighbors and residents at City Heights, Park Townsend, 350 N. 2nd Street, The Plaza, and Ryland Mews. Other future events to be held at St. James Park include hosting Starlight Cinemas on June 14.
