The 88 is the first of two condominium high-rises in a development called Central Place, providing a major impact of new residents, retail space and activity to the resurgence of downtown San Jose. The 88, formerly known as Tower 88 (or Tower 88 at Central Place) is destined to change not only the residential landscape of downtown San Jose, but also the skyline. Consisting of The 88 and a planned second tower, a combined 402 residential units (197 in Phase 1, 205 in Phase 2) will reside above an estimated total 69,000 square feet of retail (32,000 sq. ft. in Phase 1, 37,000 sq. ft. in Phase 2).
The 88 (formerly Tower 88 at Central Place) is a joint venture by CIM Group, Wilson Meany Sullivan, Stockbridge Real Estate Funds, and the San Jose Redevelopment Agency. The 88 is being built by Webcor Builders. The 88 is exclusively represented by Pacific Marketing Associates, Inc.
